Mark joined the company in August 2014, previously having done a 7 year stint with the NHS. So this is his first job within the freight industry. His role at Ital Logistics is in our Italian export department which accounts for 20% of our total business. He has handled the change of career very well, especially considering that Dean is a hard taskmaster with his constant aspiration to dot every ‘i’ possible.
His hard work has indeed paid off. Following the management buyout in September this year (2022), he moved into Dean Emsley’s old shoes as Dean progressed to Managing Director. Mark is now head of the Italian export department.
