We do not expect you to take our word for it when we talk of our ‘guiding philosophy of providing a quality of service above and beyond industry expectations’.
We are confident in our performance, and on three occasions we have entered our industry awards, twice winning our category, and finalist for the third. Furthermore, without our people we are nothing, and to this end have ensured commitment to the Investors in People Standard.
We were again finalists in 2015 for the British International Freight Association awards having been shortlisted for two categories; European Road Freight provider and the Extra Mile Award. In addition our Iberian line manager, James Mears was finalist in the Young forwarder of the Year category. Unfortunately we didn’t win either on this occasion. We don’t enter awards all the time, just occasionally when we feel we have some time available. Aside of that, we simply get on with doing the job, after all, that is what we are here for!
On the 17th January 2013 we attended the British International Freight Association awards having been shortlisted as one of four finalists in our category of European Road freight. Unfortunately we didn’t make it three in a row – I guess it was asking too much after all! But to be shortlisted is gratifying enough, and reaffirms that we are performing to a high standard.
Best European Service Provider 2007
On the 17th January 2008, at the British International Freight Association annual awards dinner, we were extremely delighted to take the winners trophy for our category of European Logistics. These awards are widely recognised as the most prestigious within the logistics and supply chain industry. It is with great pride that we receive this award, and it is a great tribute to the dedication and commitment of all colleagues.
Best European Service Provider 2002
In January 2003, Ital Logistics were awarded ‘Best European Service Provider 2002’ by the industry peers, BIFA (British International Freight Association). Referred to as “true ambassadors who properly reflect the best that the industry has to offer” by the Director-General of BIFA is both praise and testament indeed.
Investors in People
In April 2005 we achieved recognition as an ‘Investors in People’ company. The Investors in People Standard provides a national framework for improving business performance and competitiveness, through a planned approach to setting and communicating business objectives and developing people to meet these objectives.
At Ital Logistics we are pleased to have achieved the standard with very little change to the structure which was present at our beginning, as it enforces our belief that we operate our organisation effectively. It shows that, not only are we customer focused, but also that the personal development of our employees is important. Let’s face it, without such development, our business strategy would rapidly fall down – our people are our company.
At Ital Logistics we take the matter of transporting goods which are hazardous very seriously indeed, and do our utmost to ensure that they are carried in compliance with the rules of ADR & IMDG. Around 25% of our total business is made up of the transport of dangerous goods. Many companies shy away from […]
