Covid-19 outbreaks in Spain, and all across the world have undoubtedly been anticipated following the easing of lockdown restrictions.
We have just received an email from our Barcelona partner advising that Lleida, in Catalunya, is commencing a ‘semi-lockdown’ phase.
“Many towns around Barcelona (Hospitalet, Cornellà, Badalona) and the city itself are adding cases by the hour, so it’s likely to have new restrictions in the next days.
“At the moment, transport is not forbidden, neither any kind of business activity, but the access to the cities (Lleida and the area of influence by now) is heavily controlled.
