Road Freight Service to and from Greece
In January 2005 we commenced a driver accompanied service to Greece. Our partners are Hellas Logistics of Athens. Service and reliability is as important to them as it is to us, and despite stiff competition in this area we are confident that this will develop to become a strong market for our company.
The choice of our partner is quite specific as apart from being the Greek partners of ITX cargo, they are also a small company with a very ‘hands-on’ approach. With this in mind, we are able to offer a twice weekly service, every Friday direct from Manchester and Romford, and every Tuesday, either direct, or via our Italian partner’s office in Milan meeting their departure on Friday to Athens.
Our Partner
Part of the Goldair Group of Companies, founded some 25 years ago, Hellas Logistics is a forwarding company specialised in the movement of road freight between Greece and the UK, Italy, Holland, Belgium and Germany, dealing with both full and part load traffic as well as groupage distributed from their two warehouses in Athens.
In addition to the road freight services they are also specialised in customs brokerage from countries outside the European Community. Additionally they are able to transport refrigerated cargoes. Like all our partners, they are made up of a small but dedicated team where management involvement is imperative at all levels of the job – a true hands on approach to forwarding which aims to provide the special personalised level of service which is not always apparent with the larger companies.
