…Southern France, in particular…
In recent years we have accepted freight for Southern France as a means to supplement our developing Spanish services, in particular Barcelona. Little did we expect that our pricing structure and attractive transit times would attract so much business that we could actually start a service in its own right. But that is exactly what has happened.
We can be more competitive because we go direct to Southern France, delivering as much as possible directly on international trailer. This also means that we get to destination quicker, often more than two days ahead of the more traditional company who hubs everything further north for nationwide distribution. An added bonus is that it also mitigates potential damages that can be caused by multiple transhipping.
Notwithstanding this, as you will read below, with the aid of our partner we are able to distribute smaller groupage consignments, plus those which cannot deliver direct, throughout France with speed and efficiency.
Our departure schedule from Manchester and the North West, in brief, is as follows:
- Lyon – Direct every Tuesday and Friday
- Bordeaux – Direct every Tuesday and Friday
- Toulouse – Direct every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
- Bayonne – Direct every Tuesday and Friday
- Marseille – Direct every Friday
All our services to France are, as you would expect, able to carry dangerous goods, as well as freight of all kinds, including temperature controlled.
